Mrs. Bertha Thomson, 88,of 269 Grandview Way, Mapleview, Charleroi,died Monday,Oct. 7,1968 at 10:30 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Born in Crystal City,Mo.,Sept., 20,1880,she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret Reese Ray. Mrs. Thomson was a member of St. Mary Episcopal Church and Order of Eastern Star,Chapter 122,both of Charleroi. Her husband,Joseph P. Thomson,is deceased. Surviving are a brother,George E. Ray of Somerville,Mass.;one sister,Nellie Ray of Charleroi and several nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the Harold L. Schrock Funeral Home,Charleroi,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service there Wednesday,Oct. 9,at 3 p.m. with Canon Joseph Wittkofsky officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold L. Schrock is funeral director.
