Mrs. Bertha E. McAllister,aged 72 years, of Lock View,died in Charleroi-Monesen hospital,Friday,February 16,1945,at 4:35 p.m. She was born in Mahony,Pa.,May 20,1872. For some time she had lived with her daughter,Mrs. Bessie Peck of Lock View. She is survived by her husband Edgar McAllister;one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Peck,of Lock View;one brother, Floyd Griffin of Scranton;four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the home of her daughter,Mrs. Bessie Peck of Lock View. Services will be held there Monday, February 19,1945,at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C. Slezak is the funeral director.
