Mrs. Bertha May (Ivill) LeComte,79,of 101 Cherry Alley,Belle Vernon,died Sunday Sept.4,1966 at 8 p.m. at her home. She had been in failing health for several years. Mrs.LeComte was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. Born at Rostraver on Nov.7,1886,she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Melissa (Wigel) Ivill. Her husband,George,died Feb.11,1950. Surviving are one son,Roy LeVance of Ventura,Calif.;several nephews and several nieces,including Mrs.Pete (Bertha) Forsberg of Belle Vernon and Blanche Roberts at home;two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m.,Sept. 6. Service there Thursday,Sept.8, at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.John W.Bowers officiating.
