Bertha M. Lehew,81,of 327 Speers Street,Belle Vernon,died Wednesday February 22,1956 in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. She is survived by her husband,Sylvester Lehew,two sons,Melvin and Ralph of Belle Vernon,three daughters,Mrs.Robert (Edna) Aitken of Fellsburg,Mrs.George (Gladys) Papson of California state,and Mrs.Peter (Thelma) Latkanich of Monessen,eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Saturday,February 25,1956,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev.James C.Puz and Rev.George Clarke. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
