Bertha J.Peters;85;Clairton;died on Wednesday;Nov.11;1992;at Willis Center Nursing Home. She was born July 16;1907;in Monessen;a daughter of the late James and Sarah Shaw Pearce. She was a member of the Pine Run United Methodist Church. She was past president of the Women’s Club of Clairton and belonged to the Friends of the Clairton Library. Survivors include three sons;Raymond N.Peters of Jim Thorpe;Richard B.Peters of Fairless Hills and William J.Peters of Elizabeth Township;one daughter;Rita A.Riggle of Elizabeth Township;11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Friends ill be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the S.M.Finney Funeral Home;6th and Walnut streets;Clairton. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m.in the funeral home with Rev.Mick McGinnis officiating. Interment will follow at Belle Vernon Cemetery. The S.M.Finney Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
