Bertha DeAngelis; 86; of Perryopolis; formerly of Monessen; died Saturday; Nov. 2; 2002; at 7:08 p.m.; in her son’s home. She was born Feb. 29; 1916; in Monessen; a daughter of the late Stojan and Sophie Sudor. Mrs. DeAngelis was the last of her immediate family. She is survived by her son; Gerald V. DeAngelis and wife Karen of Perryopolis; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents; Mrs. DeAngelis was preceded in death by her husband; Geno DeAngelis; one daughter; Dolores Nagy; and nine brothers and sisters. Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC.; 106 East Independence St.; Perryopolis; on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday; Nov. 6; until 11 a.m.; the hour of service with the Rev. Paul M. Ragle officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
