Obituary
Mrs. Bertha Buie,305 Pennsylvania Ave.,North Charleroi,died Sunday night,Sept. 26,1971,at 11 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hosptial following a lingering illness. She was born Aug. 14,1891,in Macon, Ga. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church of Monessen. Surviving are one daughter,Mrs. Dewey (Estella) Green of North Charleroi,seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the William R. Taylor Funeral Home after 2 p.m. tuesday. Services will be held at the Union Baptist Church,Monessen,Thursday,Sept.30 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. E.W.Jarrett,pastor of the Mt. Hope Baptist Church of Mt Union,Pa,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R. Taylor,funeral director,in charge.
