Mrs.Bertha Basser;56;of Fairhope died in her home last night;January 28;1938;at 10:30 o’clock after an illness that had extended over a period of 13 weeks. The deceased is survived by her husband;James Basser;one daughter;Anna who was born February 12;1913 in Primrose;Pa.;one son;George who was born May 20;1918 in Fairhope;Pa.;and one step-son;William Lenz. Funeral services will be held from the late home on Monday;January 31;1938;at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
