Mrs. Bertha B. Thompson of 728 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital,Thursday,Jan.17,1963 at 10:30 a.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell C. Thompson on Oct. 7,1959, and a son, Capt. James A. Thompson,who died while serving with the U.S. Air Force during World War II. She is survived by one nephew,Harrison R. Buttermore of Meadville. Friends will be received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon. Services will be held there Saturday,Jan. 19 at 9:30 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Earl Lighthall. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
