Obituary

Bert McNutt of 439 Hill St., Belle Vernon,died suddenly Saturday morning,Feb.26,1966, at 7:45 a.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mr. McNutt had resided in Belle Vernon for 24 years, moving there from Charleroi. He was a retired employee of the oil well tubing department of the Allenport Plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. Surviving are his widow, Hazel Hare McNutt,three children, William Saunders of Bedford,Mrs. Daniel (Helen) Paterline and Donald Saunders, both of North Charleroi, five grandchildren, a brother,Walter of Uniontown and one sister,Mrs.William Skiles of Carmichaels. A son, William J. Saunders, died in 1955. Friends will be received at the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m. Sunday,Feb.27. Visiting hours are 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday,March 1,at 2 p.m.,with the Rev.David J.Barkley,pastor of First Methodist Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Raymond D. Dalfonso, Monessen,funeral director.
