Obituary

Bernard P. Matthews, 89, of Monroeville, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025. He is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years, Elizabeth, his two daughters, Jodie and her husband James Peller and Dawn Michele and her husband Brian Palochko, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his sister, Claudia Rossi. He served in the US Army/National Security Agency in Japan and Korea from 1955-1957. He loved nature, traveling in his RV, and music, especially his accordion. Bernard was a Professor of Biology at CCAC Boyce Campus for 30 years.
