Funeral services will be held Wednesday for Bernard Veschio,44,Monessen city treasurer,who died at St. Francis hospital on Sunday,February 29,1948 after a brief illness. Mr. Veschio formerly served as Workmen's Compensation referee at Uniontown,Pa.,during the administration of Governor George H. Earle. He is survived by his widow,Julia;a son,Marion,his mother,Mrs. Theresa Veschio;a brother,Anthony and a sister, Mrs. Lillian Kurey,all of Monessen.
