Bernard (Barney) DeAmbrogi of 212 Oakland Ave.;Charleroi;died Tuesday;Dec.17;1985;at 9:05 a.m.in the Mon Valley Hospital. He was 79. Mr.DeAmbrogi was born Jan.30;1906;in Lavano;Italy;a son of the late Joseph and Carmelina Constantini DeAmbrogi. A resident of Charleroi the past 64 years;he was Protestant. Mr.DeAmbrogi was a member of the Italia Unita Club;Oldtimers Club and Russian Club;all of Charleroi. He was a retired yard foreman at the former Charleroi Supply Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter;Bernice;in 1941. Survivors include his wife;Antoinette (Ann) Delcour DeAmbrogi;four brothers;Henry;Fred;Sergius and John DeAmbrogi of Fallowfield Township;and one sister;Bruna DeAmbrogi of Fallowfield Township. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home;819 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where services will be held Friday;Dec.20;at 11 a.m. with the Rev.James M.Robbins;pastor of Christ Lutheran Church of Charleroi;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
