Bernadette Olexa Joseph; 60; of Perryopolis (Jefferson Township); died Tuesday; Jan. 9; 2007; in UPMC-Shadyside Hospital; Pittsburgh. She was born Oct. 17; 1946; in North Charleroi; a daughter of the late George P. and Anna Bell Burnworth Olexa. She is survived by one son; Jeffery Joseph and wife Tonya; of Jefferson Township; three sisters; Mary Ann Matway; of Greensburg; Rose Lewis; of Jefferson Township; and Marlene Kamenicky; of Virginia; three brothers; Joseph Olexa; of Jefferson Township; Raymond Olexa; of Monessen; and Michael Olexa and wife Vickie; of Jefferson Township; and two granddaughters; Annabella and Gabriella Joseph. She was preceded in death by three brothers; George; Robert and Richard Olexa. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME; 334 Main St.; Fayette City; on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday; Jan. 12 until 10 a.m.; when a blessing service will take place with the Rev. Leonard McAlpin officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
