Benjamin Lucas of 700 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;died Tuesday;April 6;1976 at 11:20 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 75. He was born Aug.20;1900;in Pittsburgh;son of the late Mike and Anna Lucas. Mr.Lucas was a retired coal miner. His only survivor is a sister;Mrs.John (Julia) Hela of Perryopolis R.D.2. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;from 7 to 10 p.m.Wednesday and until 2:30 p.m.Thursday;the hour of services. Officiating will be the Rev.Fred G.Gnatuk;pastor of Little Redstone United Presbyterian Church;Fayette City R.D.1. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
