Obituary

Benjamin F.Warner,76,of Perryopolis,died Wednesday,Nov.25,1998,in Westmoreland Hospital,Greensburg. He was born Dec.1,1921,a son of the late Benjamin F.and Emma Barker Warner. Mr.Warner was a retired manager of the Agway in Monongahela and had been a farmer for many years. He was on the Board of Directors of the Old Elizabeth Mutual Fire Insurance Company for 30 years. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fayette City where he served as an Elder. Survivors include his wife,Harriet Kohnfelder Warner,two daughters,Judith Karabetsos of Belle Vernon and Ginger Patterson of Fort Myers,Fla.,two brothers,Charles Warner of Millrun and George Warner of Independence,Mo.,three sisters,Ruth Brown,Dorothy Reich and Evelyn Paulman,all of Belle Vernon,six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the James C.Stump Funeral Home Inc.,580 Circle Drive,Sweeney Plan,Rostraver Township. Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m.in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fayette City with Elder Thomas Hamer officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The James C.Stump Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
