Benjamin F.Nichols Jr of 905 Leeds Ave.;Monessen;died Monday;June 30;1986 in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 40. He was born Oct.2;1945 in North Charleroi;the son of the late Benjamin F.and Edith Martin Nichols who survives. Mr.Nichols was on disability retirement from the Coca-Cola Bottling Company. He was Catholic by faith. He was a member of the Monessen Eagles Aerie 2399;a social member of the Third Street Polish Club and the Hilltop Fireman’s Club;Monessen. He was preceded in death by his wife;Cheryl in 1982. Survivors include one daughter;Kelly Nichols;four sisters;Mrs.John (Shirley) Kudlik and Mrs.Bernadette Keegan;both of Monessen;Mrs.Ron (Gloria Ann) Soltis of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Allen (Alice) McElfresh of Donora;three brothers;John T.and Charles E.;both of Columbus;Ohio and Carl R.of Monessen. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home Inc.;Grand Blvd.and Marion Avenue;where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. with Msgr.P.Lino Ramellini officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
