Injuries received Sunday morning when he was struck by an automobile on Route 71 at Allen's Crossroads,proved fatal to Benjamin Clark,68,well-known teamster of the Fairhope and Belle Vernon district. Death occurred at 5:30 o'clock Monday evening,October 28,1940 in the Chareroi-Moessen hospital,where the injured man was taken following the accident. Mr. Clark received a fractured skull,multiple fractures of the right leg and suffered from shock. Surviving ia a sister, Mrs. Artillia Moore of Monongahela. Friends will be received in the Toner Funeral Home until Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 when services will be held. Interment will be made in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
