Benjamin A.Bright;52;of 202 Park Manor;Monessen died Sunday;April 12;1987 in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born July 26;1935 in Monessen;a son of the late John and Elsie Bright. He was Protestant by faith. He was a veteran of the U.S.Air Force;stationed in Massachusetts. He moved back to Monessen in 1981. He was a member of American Legon Post 697 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Besides his parents;he was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his wife;Ingeborg of Massachusetts;a son;John Bright;three daughters;Marion and Jacqueline of Springfield;Mass.and Rhonda Singleton of Monessen;two grandchildren;Tamyka and Paris;four brothers;John;Roscoe;Leroy and William of Monessen and one sister;Mrs.Maurice (Marge) Robertson of Washington;Pa. Also surviving is his dearly beloved friend Idella. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m.in the Draper Funeral Home and Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.at the Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;Monessen;where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Griffin Mason officiating. Burial will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
