Hospital. He was 79.
He was born June 8; 1907 in
Mobile; Ala.; a son of the late Hubbard Benjamin and Queenie Jackson
Benjamin; who survives.
Mr. Benjamin resided most of his
life in the Belle Vernon area. He
retired in 1972 from the Bethlehem
Mine Corp. He was a member of the
Antioch Baptist Church; Belle Vernon.
In addition to his mother; he is survived by his wife; Ovella Clark Benjamin; ;a son; Benny Jr. of Cleveland. Ohio; a daughter;Thelma in Cleveland;Ohio; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Friday
from 4 to 9 p.m. in the Antioch Baptist Church; Highland and Henry streets;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be hedl Saturday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Luther Warmack;pastor;officiating. Burial will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly CDraper Funeral home;608 Sixth St.;Monessen;is in charge of the arrangements.
