Beatrice M.McTavish Lee of 1268 Rostraver St.;Monessen;died Thursday;Dec.18;1980;at 11:45 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital following a brief illness. She was 79. Mrs.Lee was born June 30;1901;in Madera;Pa.;a daughter of the late William and Robie Beeman McTavish. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church;Order of Eastern Star;Monessen Women’s Club and A.A.R.P.;all of Monessen. Mrs.Lee was preceded in death by her husband;George B.Lee;on Nov.20;1980;and two brothers;Albert and Merle McTavish. Survivors include two sons;Dr.Howard G.Lee of Phoenixville;Pa.;and Robert W.Lee of Richmond;Ind.;seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren;one brother;William McTavish of Royersford;Pa.;two sisters;Mrs.Ralph (Hazel) Michaels of Pompano Beach;Fla.;and Mrs.W.H.(Laura) Klock of Deptford;N.J. Friends will be received in the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.Joseph C.Rial of the Monongahela United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
