Basil P.Marasco of Hill Street;Belle Vernon;died in the United States Veterans Hospital;Aspinwall;December 11;1948;at 8:50 a.m. He was born in 1924. He served in the U.S.Army during World War II. He is survived by his mother;Mrs.Josephine Marasco;one brother;Angelo;at home;and one sister;Mrs.Thomas Barger of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home. Requiem mass will be held Tuesday;December 14;1948;at 10 a.m.;in St.Sebastian Church;in charge of Rev.Eugene Herkins. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
