Obituary

Barney J. Thieser of Gibsonton, Belle Vernon R. D. 2, died suddenly at 3 a.m.,Saturday,Aug.9,1969,in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mr. Thieser retired as a foreman of the blast furnace mechanical department at Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel in 1961. He is survived by his w i f e, Katherine Nichols Thieser, three daughters,Mrs. Katherine Morris of Riviera Beach,Fla., Mrs. Albert (Leona) Evans of Belle Vernon,and Mrs. John (Velma) Harrison of Belle Vernon, two sons, William Shepler of Belle Vernon and Bernard Thieser of Monessen, three sisters, Mrs. Clara Vazzani, Mrs. Rose Gaul,and Mrs. Elizabeth Bell,all of Belle Vernon,one brother,George of Belle Vernon, 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,from 2 to 5 p.m.and 7 to 10 p.m. Services there Tuesday,Aug.12,1969,at 2 p.m.,the Rev.Francis Blair of the Presbyterian Church of Charleroi officiating. Interment at Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
