Mrs. Barbara Samonsky,78,died Monday,February 3,1947 at 8:45 p.m.,at her home,531 Green street, Belle Vernon. She was a member of the St. Sebastian Church of Belle Vernon and the Hungarian Aid Society of America. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Eugene Caruso,of Belle Vernon,Mrs. Michael Ruby,of Uniontown,Mrs. Peter Toth,of Belle Vernon,Daniel Samonsky,of West Newton,John H. Samonsky,of Oil City,Joseph Samonsky,of Pittsburgh,and Lewis Samonsky,of Belle Vernon. A sister,Mrs. Mary Henyecz,of New Jersey and a brother,John Kerekes, of Pricedale,also survive,along with 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home. Services will be held in the St. Sebastian Church Friday,February 7,1947,at 10 a.m.,in charge of Father Eugene Harkins. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas. L. and Edwin Melenyzer are the funeral directors.
