Barbara N.Krivda;85;of 413 Fountain Mills Road;Scottdale;died Monday;March 9;1992;at 8:44 a.m.in the Frick Community Health Center;Mt.Pleasant. She was born Feb.27;1907;in Vanderbilt;a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Burns Stickel. Mrs.Krivda had resided in Scottdale for the past 29 years and was a former member of the Christian Church of Perryopolis. She is survived by a son;Dr.Edward R.Krivda of Scottdale;the last surviving member of the family. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;John E.Krivda Jr.;who died on April 23;1963;two brothers;Donald Stickel and Thomas Stickel and three sisters;Margaret Baughman;Anna Clelland and Eltrude McClintock. Friends will be received at the Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc.;417 West Pittsburgh St.;Scottdale;Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.John E.Duvall of West Newton Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
