A life-long resident of the Belle Vernon area;she was a member of First Christian Church of Belle Vernon and the North Belle Vernon School PTO. She was preceded in death by her father;Joseph Murray. Survivors include her mother;Ann Freshnock Murray of Belle Vernon;her husband;Darel L.Johnson;two sons;David L.and Brian J.;both at home;two brothers;Donald Freshnock of Derry and Joseph J.Freshnock;sisters;Mrs.Smeigel and Mrs.Paul (Arlene) Gamble;both of Pittsburgh;Mrs. Ralph (Mary Ann) James of Woodbridge;Va.;Mrs.Charles (Beatrice) Savre of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Thomas (Marlene) Kulbacki of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday with Rev.Donald A.Bowers;pastor of First Christian Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral home is handling the arrangements.
