Obituary

Barbara Caputo,65,proprietor of Caputo's Market in Belle Vernon for 30 years,prior to retirement ten years ago,died suddenly at her late home,336 Main St.,Belle Vernon on Tuesday,Nov.19,1963,at 3:50 p.m. She was a member of St.Sebastian's R.C.Church of Belle Vernon,the Confraternity of Christian Mothers of the church,the Sons of Italy and the Anita Garibaldi Society,both of Belle Vernon. Surviving are one daughter,Mrs.Robert (Rose) Grant of Belle Vernon,one son,Joseph P., a councilman for the Borough of Belle Vernon and who,along with his wife,now operate Caputo's Market,one brother,Joseph Desimone of Belle Vernon,and three grandchildren. Her husband,Frank,is deceased. Friends are being received at the late home. Requiem High Mass at St.Sebastian's R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,Friday,Nov.22,1963,at 10 a.m.in charge of the Rev.Martin J.O'Toole,pastor. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery.
