Barbara Anne Shosky; 98; of Monessen; died Wednesday; Jan. 2; 2013; in Thorpe’s Personal Care Home; Charleroi. She was born in Monessen Aug. 22; 1914; the daughter of the late John and Barbara Kisidaj Terpak. Mrs. Shosky was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. She was a former member of Most Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers; having held many positions including president. Mrs. Shosky was an avid card player and enjoyed playing cards with her friends at card club. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law; John B. and Diane Shosky of Pleasant Hills; a daughter; Barbara M. Shosky of Monessen; three grandsons; Joshua; Jeremy and Adam Shosky; a sister; Betty Moravek of Charleroi; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; John T. Shosky; three brothers; Andrew; John and Albert Terpak; and two sisters; Ann Redlich and Connie Mingrone. Friends will be received in the DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES; 441 Reed Ave.; Monessen; 724-684-8750; from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday; Jan. 4; 2012. Services will be held Saturday; Jan. 5; 2013; beginning with a 9:30 a.m. blessing in the funeral home; followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. CD of A will conduct a service 6:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
