Mrs. Barbra Ann Brown,50,of 1128 Schoonmaker Ave.,Monessen,died Sunday,July 23,1961,at 10:25 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hosptial after a brief illness. Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Allen) Ross of Belle Vernon. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Monessen, a member of the church choir,nurses board,Red Rose Club and Court of Calanthe No. 159. Survivors include her husband, Paul;four daughters, Mrs. Samuel (Helen) Hughes of Braddock,Shirley and Henrietta,at home and Sylvia of Buffalo, N.Y.;three sons, Paul Jr. of Washington,D.C. and Walter and Earl of Monessen;23 grandchildren,two sisters, Mrs. James (Elizabeth) Ross of Youngstown, Ohio and Mrs. William (Eva) Minnie of Donora,two brothers, George Ross of Monessen and Louis Ross of Washington,D.C. Friends are being received at the Beverly Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday,July 26 at 2 p.m. from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen. The Rev. E. Archie will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly Draper,funeral director.
