Barbara A. Povrzanich; 69; of Belle Vernon (Fairhope); died Thursday; Jan. 4; 2007; in her home. A daughter of the late Glenn and Mary Kostelac McKee; she was born in North Charleroi on Dec. 18; 1937. She was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City. Survivors include one daughter; Nadine Gantner; of Belle Vernon; one son; Greg Povrzanich; of Monessen; four sisters; Glenda Brewer; of Belle Vernon; Arlene Booley; Debbie Donaldson; both of Fairhope; and Mary Jo Buerlen; of Belle Vernon; four grandchildren; Michelle Nelson; and Thomas; Mary and Mike Davis; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; George Povrzanich; in 1998. Friends will gather in the funeral home on Saturday; Jan. 6; at 9:15 a.m. and proceed to Holy Spirit R.C. Church for a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass with the Rev. Len McAlpin as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. There will be a vigil service in the funeral home on Friday at 3 p.m.
