Barbara A. Freeland, 77, of Belle Vernon, died Monday, November 10, 2008 following multiple strokes in the Charles Morris Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pittsburgh. A daughter of the late Harry and Martha Feather Haigh, she was born in Cranesville, WV on June 26, 1931. A member of the Pricedale Union Church, she had resided in Rostraver Township since 2003 and was formerly of Fallowfield Twp. and Belle Vernon. Barbara was the proprietor of the former Nearly New Consignment Store in N. Belle Vernon. Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca J. Freeland of Pittsburgh, one son, Michael A. Freeland of Gettysburg, one sister, Bonnie Mahaffey of Oakland, MD, one brother, Thomas Haigh of Fremont, OH and two grandchildren, Sarah Freeland of Berrysville, VA and Michael Freeland of Charlestown, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chauncey A. Freeland on May 9, 2002, one sister, Regina DeWitt and one brother, Joseph Haigh. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 P.M. Wednesday in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon (724-929-5300),
