Ava Dorcon; 87; of Fairhope; Belle Vernon; entered in eternal rest on Wednesday; June 9; 2004 in Country Care Manor; Fayette City; with her family at her bedside. She was born July 17; 1915 in Washington Township; Fayette County; the daughter of the late Harry E. and Nellie Davis Roley. She was also preceded in death by one son-in-law; Steve Misher Jr. Mrs. Dorcon was a member of St Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas for 35 years; and she was an avid bingo player. She is survived by two daughters; Iona Onie Misher of Fairhope and Margaret Skippy Tencer and husband Charles of California; Pa.; one brother; Emerson Bud Roley of Connellsville; the following grandchildren; Theresa Misher Downer; Stephen Misher; Mary Margie Misher Yonash; Eve Tencer Hiller; Michelle Tencer Herron; Joseph Tencer; Charlene Tencer Adams; Maureen Tencer Smith; Brenda Tencer DePaoli; Michael Tencer and Paul Tencer; great-grandchildren; Jody Downer; Rebecca Downer Wheatly; Douglas Downer; Melissa Yonash; Zachary Yonash; Anthony Morocco; Mathew Herron; Mandie Herron Ventura; Jayme Jones; Christopher Dixon; Stephen Dixon; Jennifer Smith; Joshua Smith; Brandie DePaoli; William BJ DePaoli; Nicholas Hiller; Eric Hiller; James Muth and Allison Tencer; great-great-grandchildren; Garrison Wheatley; Dominic Ventura and Eliot Ann Herron. Friends will be received Thursday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the ELEY/McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; where a blessing service will be held Friday; June 11 at 10 a.m. with the Rev Fr. Leonard McAlpin officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
