Augustine Castanier Barthe of St.John’s Lutheran Home;Mars;Pa.;formerly of Monessen and North Charleroi;died Tuesday;March 25;1986;at 9:55 p.m.in St.John’s Lutheran Home;Mars;Pa. She was 83. Mrs.Barthe was born Oct.20;1902;in Monessen;a daughter of the late August and Louise Dalverny Castanier. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Charles V.Barthe;who died in 1958;and by a daughtrer;Norma Jacobs. Surviving are two sons;Charles V.Barthe of Fort Meyers;Fla.;and Henry P.Barthe of Bradford Woods;Pa.;and three grandchildren. Friends will be received all day and evening Thursday in the Simons Funeral Home;7720 Perry Highway;Ross Twp. A Committal Service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon;Pa. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m.Saturday in the Heritage United Presbyterian Church;2262 Rochester Road;Franklin Park Borough. The Rev.Alick Kennedy will officiate at both services. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon;Pa.
