August Strumbus;age 60 years;died at his home in Fairhope on Thursday;October 7;1943 at 9:10 p.m.;after an illness of two weeks. He is survived by his wife;Marcella;one son;Sgt.August Strumbus;Jr.;U.S.Army;four daughters;Agnes and Helen at home;Mrs.Walter Wozniak of Fairhope and Mrs.Albert Neale of Belle Vernon R.D.;two sisters;Agnes Valentine of Mansfield;Ohio and Mrs.Anthony Kesros;also of Mansfield;Ohio. Three grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the late home;and services will be held there Monday;October 11;1943;at 9 a.m.;followed by additional services in St.Edward’s Church in Fayette City at 10 a.m. Rev.John Sedlak will have charge of services and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
