August Arrigo,of Belle Vernon, brother of Thomas Arrigo,of Chraleroi,died Sunday night,June 2,1919,about midnight from a fractured skull,received as the result of an accident. Mr.Arrigo,who was in the produce wholesale business on Main street in Belle Vernon,occupied the second floor of his own building with his family. About 10 o'clock Sunday night,while going down stairs,he missed his footing and fell to the bottom,striking the back of his head,which fractured his skull. He lived about two hours after the accident happened. How the accident occurred is not known,bit it is believed that Mr.Arrigo tripped near the top of the stairway and was plunged head-long down the flight to the bottom. He is survived by his widow and nine children,by his mother and by his brother,Thomas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock with interment to follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Mr.Arrigo was very prominent among the Italian people of the community and was the member of four fraternal organizations.
