Arthur W.Wells of 803 (rear) Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi died Sunday;Aug.22;1982;at 10:45 a.m.in his home. He was 79. Mr.Wells was born Dec.2;1902;in Rostraver Twp.;a son of the late Alfred and Belle Mollard Wells. He was a retired employee of the Corning Glass Works Plant in Charleroi. Mr.Wells was preceded in death by his wife;Anna;in 1975. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church and the Slovak Club;both of Charleroi;and was a member of the former Charleroi Turners’ Club. Survivors include two sons;Arthur Wells of Niles;Ohio and Thomas Wells of Charleroi;one daughter;Mrs.Anna Emph of Greenville;Pa.;17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home;819 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home;with pastor James M.Robbins of the Christ Lutheran Church;Charleroi;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
