Obituary

Arthur V.Rousseau,84,of Belle Vernon R.D.1,a resident of Rostraver Township for 77 years,died Saturday,May 4,1963,at 6:20 p.m.at his late home.  Mr.Rousseau was born in Belgium,March 19,1879,and was a member of the Monessen Eagles Aeerie and of the Franco-Belgium Club of Charleroi.  He was retired as a glass flattener at the former American Window Glass Co.,Belle Vernon in 1949.  Surviving are four sons,Arthur J.,Harry N.,Ernest and Gene,all of Mt.Vernon,Ohio,six daughters,Mrs.John (Adele) Deters,Mrs.Camelia Popp,Mrs.C.T.(Ora) Olson and Mrs.Arvo (Eva) Knuttila,all of Belle Vernon R.D.,Mrs.Eugene (Maria) McDonald of State College,Pa.,and Mrs.Schuyler (Doris) Marshall of California,Pa.,a brother,Joseph of Belle Vernon R.D.1,a sister,Mrs.Eva Brown of Kittanning,22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.  Friends are being received at the Shelby D. Feguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Tuesday,May 7,at 2:30 p.m.Rev.Wayne M.Tolson,pastor of First Christian Church,Monessen,will officiate.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
