Arthur J. Ike Jones; 89;formerly of Latrobe and Pricedale;died Tuesday; May 12; 1998
in Westmoreland Manor;Greensburg. He was born April 18;1909;in Eighty Four; a son of the late Harry Burt and Ella K. McCracken Jones.
Mr. Jones was Protestant by
faith and a life member of the
Latrobe Elks Lodge 901. He was
a former member of the Belle
Vernon Moose.
He retired in 1985 as a crane
operator from the Frank Irey
Construction Company.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by three
brothers; Norman; Leonard;
and Carl Jones; and three sisters; Garnet Butler; Vivian
Jones and Viola Zorek.
Survivors include two sons
and daughters-in-law; James
and Paula Jones of Latrobe and
Terry and Laura Jones of
Blairsville; one daughter and
son-in-law; Janet and Joe Mott
of Greensburg; three sisters;
Pearl Coyle of Dover; Ohio;
Ethel Turner of Pricedale and
Lenore Patterson of Belle Vernon; and six grandchildren; Tim
J.; Todd J.; Holly J.; Chris;
Wayne and Terry Jr.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to
9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral
Home Inc.; 700 Broad Ave.;
Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m.with the Rev.James Mimidis;pastor of the Pricedale Union Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
