Obituary

Arthur Edward Gray, 68, of
214 1/2 Wood St., Belle Vernon,died Monday,April 18,1977 at 3:30 a.m. in
Charleroi Division of Mon
Valley Hospital.
He was born in Vanderbilt
on Aug. 28, 1908 and had
resided in Belle Vernon since
1950. He was formerly a
resident of North Charleroi.
Mr. Gray was a member of
the Vanderbilt First United
Methodist Church.
He retired in 1973 from the
Monessen Southwestern
Railroad of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
He was preceded in death by
his wife, Margaret, on July 16,
1972.
Surviving are three
daughters, Mrs. Jack (Uarda)
Chalfant of Belle Vernon,
Mrs. Shirley Gray of Warren
and Mrs. Dale (Ruth )
Weightman of Belle Vernon,
three brothers, Wayne Gray of
Brownsville, Donald Gray and
Russell Gray, both of
Charleroi R.D., three sisters,
Mrs. Steve Whoric of
Vanderbilt R.D., Mrs. Edward
Kooser of Connellsville and
Mrs. Mary Morgan of
Charleroi R.D., and 10
grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson
Funeral Home, Belle Vernon,
from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.with Pastor R.Dawson Hopson of the First United Methodist Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director in charge.
