Arthur Bucchianeri, 84, of Lemont Furnace, formerly of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Peroni Personal Care Home, Uniontown. Born Feb. 4, 1940, in Dunlevy, Pa., he was the son of the late Guido and Eleanora Checchi Bucchianeri. Art was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Monessen. He was employed with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers building numerous locks, dams and bridges and later employed with U.S. Steel. He was a member of the Fayette City-Washington Township Lions Club, a life member of West Newton Sportsmen’s Club and Fairhope Rod and Gun Club, and a social member of the Uniontown Amvets. He is survived by his second wife, Elvie Field Glover Bucchianeri; nieces, Theana Haag, Valerie Clement and Geraldine Linn McQuilin; nephew, Chris Kokias; stepdaughters, Debie, Shelley and Tammy; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Manos Bucchianeri. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
