Arthur Benedict Allen, Sr., died Saturday, Sept. 18,1954 at his home in Belle Vernon R. D. 1. He was born in Rostraver Township and was a member of the St. Sebastian Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ellen Allen, one son,Arthur,Jr., one daughter. Mrs. Philip (Mabel) Shepler, of Monessen, and one grandchild. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home, 700 Broad avenue, Belle Vernon from 1 to 5 p.m.and from 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 21, at 9-30 a.m. at the St Sebastian Church in charge of the Very Rev. Francis L. Martin. Interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L.Melenyzer and Shelby D. Ferguson, funeral directors.
