Arthur Balieu of 207 Luella
Ave.; Charleroi; died Tuesday;March 27;1979 at 4:30 p.m. in
Waddington Nursing Home;
Fayette City; after an illness
of three months. He was 88.
Mr. Balieu was born Jan. 4;
1891 in Belgium; a son of the
late Albert and Celena Balieu
A Protestant by faith; he
had lived in the Charleroi area
for 71 years. He was retired
from the Alienport Plant of
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel
Corp.
He was preceded in death by
his wife; Mary Billion Balieu;
and also by a daughter;
Mathilda Gray; two brothers;
Charles and Emil; and one
sister; Yvonne.
Survivors include one son;
Charles Balieu of Charleroi;
one daughter; Mrs. Angelo
(Yvonne) Capella of
Charleroi; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.

Funeral Home; Inc.; 235
Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi;
Wednesday from 7 to 9 p m. and
Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Francis Blair officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Leonard M.Pavlic Funeral Home;Inc.in charge of arrangements.
