Arthur B. Allen, 54, of Building 8, Park Manor, Monessen, died Wednesday January 18,1961 at 7:30 p.m. at home. Born in Charleroi, June 1, 1906, Mr. Allen had lived almost his entire lifetime in Belle Vernon before moving to Park Manor four years ago. He was a member of St. Leonard R. C. Church, Monessen. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ellen Meehan Allen, Monessen. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home, Broad Ave., Belle Vcrnon, after 7 o'clock Thursday evening. Funeral services will be held Saturday,January 21,1961,at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home,with services of Requiem High Mass to follow at 10 a.m. from St.Leonard's R.C.Church,Monessen. The Rev.Martin J.OToole will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
