Mr.Sprouse graduated from Monessen high school in 1924;and was in the life insurance business for eighteen years. At the time of his death;he was sales representative for Radio Station WESA. Preceded in death by his wife;Ruth Walters Sprouse;who passed away in 1947;he is survived by one son;Lieutenant Keith A.Sprouse;stationed with the United States Marine Corps in Quantico;Virginia;one daughter;Janice at home;his parents;Mr.and Mrs.Hollis Sprouse of Monessen;one brother;Wayne of Brownsville;and a sister;Mrs.Grant (Evelyn) Brown of Brownsville. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen. Services will be held there Wednesday;May 11;1955;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Dr.Edwin Kiefer and Rev.Frank James. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer is the funeral director.
