Anthony Nicastro of Nathan Goff Jr.Apartments,North Charleroi,died Sunday,March 11,1990,at 1:25 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 91. Mr. Nicastro was born Aug.17,1898,in Falerna,Italy,a son of the late Paul and Fortune Esposito Nicastro. A U.S.Army veteran of World War I,he retired in 1967 as a lieutenant with the Monessen Police Department after 33 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife,Anna Demianchik Nicasto,January 1974;and by a son,John Michael,1942. Mr. Nicastro was a member of the First Presbyterian Church,American Legion Post 28,Italian Mutual Aid Society,NIPA and the Sons of Italy Society,all of Monessen. He was also a member of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 87 for over 50 years and Fraternal Order of Human Rights Masonic Lodge,Larkspur,Colo. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law,Gladys and Michael Cesovski Jr.of Monessen;one grandson and his wife,Martin J.and Cynthia Cesovski of Charleroi;two great-grandchildren,Karen L.and David M. Cesovski and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rhome Funeral Home,Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen,where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m.with the Rev.S. Kenneth Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
