Anthony N. Marinos; 49; of Fayette City; died Saturday; April 20; 2002; in the emergency room at Mon Valley Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born Sept. 13; 1952; in Newport News; Va.; a son of Connie Strubakis Helton; who survives; and the late Jack Marinos. Mr. Marinos was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Monessen. A veteran of the U.S. Navy; he coached youth bowling at Brunswick Bowling Lanes. He is survived by his wife; Jo Ann Planey Marinos and children; Shane Marinos at home and Thomas Marinos of Florida; his mother; Connie Strubakis Helton of Belle Vernon; his mother-in-law; Betty Planey of Fayette City; one brother; Jack Marinos of State College; one sister; Margaret Love of Ruffsdale; two brothers-in-law; Richard and wife Maria Planey and David and wife Anita Planey; all of Monessen; and one granddaughter; Caylee Jade Marinos of Florida. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City; on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.; Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday; April 24; until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will take place in the funeral home with the Rev. Father Joechim Pantelis officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
