Anthony Balderoni,aged 75 years,a Monessen mason contractor for 31 years,died Monday afternoon, April 8,1940,at 5:20 o'clock in Memorial Hosptial, Monongahala,following a short illness. The deceased was a member of the Mason Trade Union,the Italian Club of Charleroi,the Italian Catholic Church of Monessen,and the North Italian Political Association of Monessen.He leaves his wife;one daughter, Mrs. Dennis Lecomte of Ohio; three sons, Albert Balderoni of Steubenville,Joseph Balderoni at home and Anthony Balderoni,Jr. of Monessen;four grandchidlren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received in the late home in Monessen until 10 o'clock Thursday morning,when services will be held in the Italian Church with the Reverend Father Paonessa officiating. Interment will be made in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L. Melenyzer,funeral director in charge.
