Mrs. Annie L. Bowers of 727 McKean avenue, Charleroi,died suddenly at her home, Wednesday,March 6,1946 at 5:30 a.m. She came to Charleroi from Bentleyville in 1927,and was a member of the Charleroi Presbyterian Church. She is survived by six sons,Orvil A. Bowers of Uniontown,Edgar Bowers and C. William Bowers of North Charleroi,George Bowers of Central Falls,Rhode Island,James A. Bowers at home and John Bowers of Fayette City; two brothers, Alex D. Stevenson of Charleroi and John D. Stevenson of Brownsville;two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Metcalf and Mrs. May Bedsler of Charleroi and six grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Lawrence B. Frye Funeral Home. Services will be held there Friday,March 8,1946,at 2:30 o'clock,in charge of Dr. Frank S. Montgomery. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Lawrence B. Frye is the funeral director.
