Ann Kermes Parilak; 83; of Rostraver Township; died Tuesday; July 8; 2008; at the home of her son; Joseph; in Colfax; W.Va. Born in Redstone Township on July 1; 1925; she was the daughter of the late Steve and Patricia Zbyvatel Kermes. Ann was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Company and later worked at the Bettis Plant of Westinghouse. She was a member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver Township and its Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law; James Michael Parilak; of Norfolk; Va.; Joseph Edward and Lisa Parilak; of Colfax; W.Va.; and Dr. Leonard David Parilak; of Las Vegas; Nev.; a daughter; Laura Bagdadi and husband Ariel; of Scottsdale; Ariz.; three grandchildren; Abreonna and Adalynn Parilak and Lucas Bagdadi; and two sisters; Agnes Nicholas; of Pittsburgh; and Margie Kushak; of Uniontown. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Leonard Regis Parilak; in 1997; and seven brothers and two sisters. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 9:30 a.m. in the JAMES C.
