Obituary

Mrs.Anna Elizabeth Garren,aged 78 years,formerly of Belle Vernon,died in the home of her daughter,Mrs.Frank Carper at Robin's Station,Pa,at 8:55 p.m.on Saturday,May 23,1942. Until a few years ago she had lived in Belle Vernon but later went to Robin's Station to make her home with her daughter. She was born May 10,1864. Deceased was a member of the St.Sebastian Church in Belle Vernon. Surviving are two daughters,Mrs.Carper and Mrs.Theresa Gilmore,of 204 Wood street,Belle Vernon,and two sisters,Miss Mary Dowling,708 Grant street,Belle Vernon,and Mrs.Sarah Miner,of Lysinger. Thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. The remains are at the Melenyzer Funeral Home in Belle Vernon where friends will be received until time for funeral services at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning,May 27 in St.Sebastian Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Rev.J.J.O'Connell will officiate. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.and Edwin Melenyzer funeral directors.
